Photography 101

I am taking a Photography class at our local adult education center. It's one of the things I am doing "for me" now that the three kids are all in school. It's something I have wanted to do for some time now, and I look forward to my class time.
This week, the focus was macro settings and the rule of thirds. Here are just a few shots I took using my Canon PowerShot A720IS that I bought in August. I still have my Canon Rebel too ... but I used my "small" camera for these.





So, no card creation, but I'm enjoying my photo creations, of sorts.

    Good for you! I would love to take a photography class. I've got a pile of books. It's not the same. I'm glad you're doing something for you. You deserve it! The whole family will benefit from a mom/wife that takes great photos, too!
