FaithSisters.com Speed Scrap

Ugh.

So I was all ready to start cleaning, but I was going to check my email one last time ... We've all done that, right? Well, then I find an email from Merchi saying there's a Speed Scrap today. Yup. I got sucked into it.

In less than 90 minutes, I created this - following Merchi's challenge. This will be part of my 9x9 album of our recent Midwest trip.

Supplies - Font: CK Easy Goin'. Tools: SU! scalloped circle punch, EKSuccess photo corner punch, circle punch, Fiskars eyelet border. All the rest, CTMH. Paper/Stickease: Animal Crackers. Stamp sets: Today's Date and Spot On Backgrounds. Embellishments: grossgrain ribbon, minibrads.

Now, really, I need to get back to cleaning. People will be here in four hours.

Oh, and if anyone is interested, here's info about the Speed Scraps.

FaithSisters Speed Scrap Challenge

I meant to post this Sunday, but forgot.

This is the layout I made when I participated in Saturday night's speed scrap on FaithSisters.com.

The picture is from my trip to Kansas City in January 2009 when I was able to catch up with two scrapbooking friends.

Here is a close up the bottom left corner:

Here is the top left corner:

[Using a silver gel pen, I wrote "scrapbooking" between the stamped words.]

And here is the other side of the title:
[I stamped on the Color Ready alphas, then added more words with the silver gel pen.]

Supplies: All CTMH - Desert Sand ink; Intrinsic Backgrounds, Express Postage and Moments in Time stamp sets; Just Blooms; minibrads, ribbon, bling and buttons. Silver gel pen.

BoomDiAda layouts

I still need to add pictures, of course. These are created using a sketch from Cherish. I so love that book. It's full of ideas, makes scrapbooking so easy, and leads to the creation of wonderful layouts in little time. I think my next CTMH order will include Reflections, the newest of CTMH sketch/inspiration books. I know -- it's difficult to believe that I do not already own it!

[Remember, you can click on the picture to enlarge it!]

Materials: [all CTMH] stamp sets - Vroom, Rustic, Classic Caps, Make My Day, Serendipity, Journaling Jots; paper - Boom Di Ada; embellishments - clear buttons, hemp, edge anchors; ink - hollyhock, sweet leaf
