You're in for a special treat today. Lots of CTMH consultants are part of this blog hop to showcase our January Stamp of the Month called True Friends, a set of eleven stamps. {If you're interested in purchasing this set, contact me or your own CTMH consultant.}
If you got here from Nancy's blog, you're going in the correct direction. If I'm your first stop on the hop, keep reading. From here, you'll go to Nona's blog and you'll circle back around and eventually, you'll end up back here (and then you'll know you're done hopping!). Just keep following the links on the consultants' blogs! {The link for Nona's is at the end of this post!}
I used the sketch at ICS to help create this card.
It was fun to find elements to match the sketch:
I used a photo corner (from the new Connection Club sets) in place of the circle element on the sentiment piece.
I used clear sparkles in place of the circle elements in the bottom right.
The layered flower makes the other element (with the bling flower from an old Connection Club set).
I dolled up the white daisy Just Blooms by stamping flourishes on it. I love that our flowers are so easy to work with!
Is anyone else addicted to edge distressing? I can't help but distress ...
And -- tah dah! -- here's my card:
Supplies used: All CTMH (unless otherwise noted). Paper - Sasparilla. Ink - black, cocoa. Embellishments - chocolate ribbon, clear sparkles, twilight photo corner. Stamp set - True Friends & Playful Flourishes. Tools - edge distresser, sponge dauber, SU flower punch, Fiskars border punch.
From here, you're headed to Nona's blog to see another use of this month's stamp of the month!
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the hop!
