I was just looking at others' cards for today's 365 Cards challenge. I stumbled across Michelle's card, really really liking the star and hemp on her card. I continued my blog hopping and made my way to Amy's blog, eyeing the sketch she used.
Inspired by both Michelle and Amy, I created this card.
Still focused on the "raise it up challenge" from 365 Cards, the layers are adhered using foam tape. I really like the dimension that adds to the card (even if you can't tell in the picture!).
Supplies: Except for the ribbon from my stash and tools, everything else is by CTMH. Paper - Sarsparilla. Stamp sets - Miracle, Star Struck, Say It In Style. Ink - Twilight, Barn Red, Desert Sand. Embellishments - Minibrads. Tools - Fiskars border punch, EKSuccess corner rounder, SU word window punch
wooo hoooo Maricar!!! I love to hear that I actually inspired someone...LOL....your card is super fun & gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card! I so love plaid and could wear that paper! Your late night card is a winner, too. You weren't the only one up until all hours either. I slept for an hour and then laid there for three trying to go back to sleep. Made for a sluggish Kathi at work today...
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat card, Maricar! I like the different shapes (scallops and stars) and the airmail set is a long time favorite of mine!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Perfect male card.
ReplyDeleteI'm honoured Maricar that I inspired you. Your card is lovely in every aspect.
